Getting that screeching alert yesterday afternoon will really make a man question his life choices. But then I get to work this morning after an uneventful evening and all is well.
That is until I got another angry alarm with the same message about tonight. Shit around here is getting Twilight Zone weird. The cop shouted Taser! Taser! Taser! before she shot the poor dude. Then she says “Holy Shit I shot him!”
The police chief said he believed it was an accidental discharge. NO SHIT. But the way he said it was in answer to a reporter asking if the officer would be immediately fired.
You couldn’t write this stuff into a script because everyone would think you were going too far into fantasy. This trial happening here has national attention and everyone is on edge. It’s all everyone is talking about.... then this happens. Zoinks
