Good times
I am a passenger on the struggle bus today and I’m sitting in the very back of the extended version where every bump is magnified. My youngest child turned 21 so I drove down to celebrate and that’s just what we did.
He began the evening by making me smile asking “do I just show them my real driver’s license?” Yes my son you can gift your fakes to those less aged than yourself.
I’m a bit hazy on the details but at one point I found myself in a basement bar I drank in more than thirty years ago. It was a great time and I do so love talking shit with college kids.
I should have done a better job of monitoring my pace because even the late night food run didn’t make today any better. In fact, it made last night worse. I was up every hour just trying to survive.
I clearly remember a couple kids offering to walk me out to wait for my Uber. I was insulted and announced “I am the menace in this town tonight.” Soo douchey, so dramatic.
