been a minute

apologies for the delay

I had one of the greatest weekends in recent years and I’m not going to write a thing about it. If ever there was a terrible opening sentence that was it but I figured since it was the thing on the top of my brain I’d better get it out so I can write with a clear(er) head. There is so much spinning in my world right now I feel like I need to just sit down. No rest for the wicked.

The other thoughts occupying my skull right now aren’t much fun. One of my oldest and closest friends in the world lost his father this week and I will be going home to be there. This hurts on a lot of levels but the only way to get to the other side is through. I will be taking some PTO as well because it turns out the Catholic Church won’t bury anyone on their version of Super Bowl weekend. So Monday it will be.

Apologies for the bullshit non-update update but in my current state this is what I’ve got to offer. I’ve shifted into getting things done mode before I head out of town and this was on my internal list. Box Checked. I should get in a better spot once Im there and hopefully can help in some way but no promises on anything written until next week.
