When this started I was a 55 year old idiot just trying to stumble through life like everyone else. No real point to this thing other than giving me a place to write.

I have written online for a lot of years but some recent events in my life caused a two year time out. My 30+ year marriage was ending and it wasn't fair to everyone involved for me to write about it even anonymously. The other problem was that for the first year at least it was all I could think about. So I hit pause and handled my business.

Now I am almost on the other side and WordPress made me an offer to start up again that I couldn't refuse. And now that offer is coming to an end 2 years later so I'm packing up my things and moving to a SubStack newsletter.

The EX and I get along. Our family and friends have been great. And in the spectrum of things life can hit you with, divorce relatively minor.
